Blue Fox Glass

Kandyse of Blue Fox Glass is one of the artists whose work you will see this weekend at my spring show. She specializes in FUNctional art glass.Kandyse had done stained glass for 15+ years, but when she purchased a kiln in August 2009, fusing glass became her new addiction. Here is some of her work. Check out her website for many more pictures of dishes, coasters, wind chimes and stained glass. http://www.BlueFoxGlass.com

 Pebble dishes, her latest creations!
She has dishes and coaster in many colors and designs.
An experiment that I think is really cool!

Turquoise bracelets and earrings with sterling silver and silver plated beads.

Small turquoise nuggets and a silver plated pillow heart with a heart shaped pewter clasp.

A jasper and copper pendant with turquoise and glass copper beads. Antiqued copper clasp.

This is not turquoise - it is magnesite. A magic jasper pendant, bronze colored pearls,

Thursdays Work

Today I continued making earrings. One way I keep my costs down (and thus my prices) is to work in assembly line fashion. I select beads and parts and lay them out. Then I work on several pairs at once, repeating the same step on each pair before moving on to the next step.

All have been  SOLD

And I still have at least this many pairs laid out and ready to assemble for tomorrow!

Circles

I seem to be on a theme this week for earrings - circles!
All have been  SOLD

I love working with copper. This year it is very popular as the price of other metals has risen dramatically.

Long Earrings

My friend is looking for some long earrings. Right now I have a limited selection but wanted her to see what her choices would be. For size reference the earring card is 3 1/4 inches tall. I have made much longer ones in the past - one of many things on my beading to-do list!
