Shades of Blue

One of my customers is looking for a blue necklace so this week I will be working in shades of blues and greys. If you see anything you like send me an email! So far I have added these to my collection:

Catch a ray of sun

These draw so much attention in my booth. On a pretty day I often hang them along the back to send rainbows over my displays. I find them very hard to photograph!! 

They are made using crystal seed beads, small Swarovski and Czech crystals and antique leaded glass crystal from old chandeliers.

Pretty as a Picture

I have a new camera and I have not had time yet to play with the white balance settings so the colors are a bit off in these photos. I am hoping once I have the settings figured out my pictures will be much improved.

These are some of the pieces I have created in the last two weeks. A few have already sold. The purple one sold less than a day after it was made and after only an hour in my booth!

Browns

This week I have been working on shades of brown.This first one is 3 strands of satin brown seed beads with pale topaz round Swarovski crystals and a beautiful piece of picture jasper.  The jasper looks like a  miniature landscape painting. Sold.

 Next up another piece of picture jasper that hangs from 3 strands of seed beads in matte black, brown and golden bronze. As always, some earrings to match. SOLD

 These little dainties go quickly. Every time I make them they are gone by the next weekend. They combine pale blue teardrop agates with satin brown seed beads. I am now out of the seed bead so these will be the last of this style. Update: Both of these sold on Friday!

 And for the finale, a beautiful piece of chocolate jasper hanging from strands of golden bronze, gold and smokey topaz glass seed beads. Accents are rich topaz Swarovski bi-cone crystals. Sold.

Busy Restocking

Yesterdays Pearls

I was adding to my pearl selection yesterday. Many of these will be posted to my online store soon - or just send me an email if you do not want to wait.

 Key to My Heart. Freshwater pearls mixed with pearlized glass seed beads. The dangles are a small key, grey Swarovski crystal and grey pearl.  This one is 17.5 inches long plus a 1.5 inch dangle. Sold.

Todays Work

 Lately I have been making mostly stone and pearl necklaces. Today I went in a different direction.

The first necklace is a mix of glass black seed beads, black Czech crystals, green glass teardrop beads, gold plated pewter and a hand blown glass pendant that I picked up a while back in Portland. This has sold.

This one is a mixture of grey Swarovski and black Czech crystals with glass black seed beads. The green crystal came off of an orphan earring someone gave me. The chain makes it adjustable in length. Friends often give me broken jewelry or orphan earrings (not of my making) that I take apart and then reuse the components. SOLD

Catch a Ray of Sun

My supply of sun catchers has dwindled rapidly in the last month so today I spent a few hours making some new ones. These use antique crystals from old chandeliers, Czech and Swarovski crystals and glass seed beads. A few have pewter charms at the end. All are $18. All have been  SOLD

very sparkly gift

This fall I received a gift of a whole box of old chandelier crystals. Thanks Brenda! Some very interesting shapes and a few were huge. Now what to do with them.

I created a short beaded figure eight loop  in either silver or gold to hang them from. 

Then I added ribbon and a hanger. 

It is cold and rainy out today so I have all day to create these sparking beauties. You can see them in person this weekend at the Bremerton Food and Gift Show. Imagine how nice they'd look on your tree!

Seeing Red
