Recent Work - Picture Jasper

What attracted me to these stones was their shape. I knew they would make some sweet little necklaces.Picture Jasper promotes emotional balance and wellbeing. In a healing capacity it works on the immune system and helps to alleviate stress.

Delicate Glass Necklaces

Browns

This week I have been working on shades of brown.This first one is 3 strands of satin brown seed beads with pale topaz round Swarovski crystals and a beautiful piece of picture jasper.  The jasper looks like a  miniature landscape painting. Sold.

 Next up another piece of picture jasper that hangs from 3 strands of seed beads in matte black, brown and golden bronze. As always, some earrings to match. SOLD

 These little dainties go quickly. Every time I make them they are gone by the next weekend. They combine pale blue teardrop agates with satin brown seed beads. I am now out of the seed bead so these will be the last of this style. Update: Both of these sold on Friday!

 And for the finale, a beautiful piece of chocolate jasper hanging from strands of golden bronze, gold and smokey topaz glass seed beads. Accents are rich topaz Swarovski bi-cone crystals. Sold.

Working by Candlelight

Being without power for a few days kept me off the computer so I spent my time beading. My studio is the smallest room in the house and I discovered with enough candles I could actually increase the temperature to something tolerable. With cats nestled in a down blanket and a fleece pillow and the dog in a sweater, I set to work. Here are some results.....

Wednesday is the first day of fall, the perfect time to wear beautiful browns and topaz. These dainty and sparkly earrings are made with fire-polished Czech glass crystals in dark topaz, smokey topaz and gold. So rich looking!   $12per pair.  SOLD

Feels like Fall

This pretty set is called Autumn Topaz. The triple strand necklace and bracelet are a mix of dark gold, dark topaz and rusty brown seed beads, brown and topaz teardrops and fall colored Czech crystals and bugle beads. The clasps are gold plated dragonflys. Necklace $25, bracelet $15 and earrings are $8. All have been SOLD.

Topaz Crystals

When I saw these topaz crystal teardrops I just new they would make gorgeous earrings. They are paired with Czech firepolished crystal round and teardrop beads and gold plated findings. $15 All have been SOLD.

Autumn Topaz

This series I call Autumn Topaz - there are necklaces and bracelets, as well as earrings. Both are 3 strands of assorted seed beads, Czech crystals and other assorted autumn colored beads.

This style also comes in Amethyst Fire (purple) and Starry Nights (black and silver). There are earrings to match each color.
