Spring Greens

I have used Dragon's blood jasper before and it was a very fiery red and green. This one is a very soft green with just a hint of red streaks. Perfect for spring.

This Australian jasper is a very protective and grounding stone. It brings joy to community interactions. It increases courage, energy  and strength. This stone is kown for physical heart healing and grounds spiritual energy through the heart chakra. It calls forth the gentle strengths of love, forgiveness, & compassion - the only energies that can tame your inner dragon.
Here I have mixed it with soft gray-green freshwater pearls, soft green glass seed beads and pewter. (sold)

These feature aventurine chips, soft green glass seed beads and pewter.
The ones on the left and right have sold.

The next three necklaces and earrings use green brecciated jasper, a grounding and protective stone from Africa. This jasper is thought to increase physical endurance and fend off dehydration. It can also help to relieves stress and aid in relaxation.

The one on the left has a jade dangle while the center one features Afghan serpentine. All three use green glass seed beads and pewter. Sold

New Work - Odds 'n Ends

First thing on my work bench was a necklace where the pendant was just not hanging right. So I did a quick re-do. The stone is Owyhee jasper from Oregon and it is mixed with copper and glass.

I pay attention to what my customers look at when they are in my booth. The blue necklace below actually had the brown and tan stone that is in the following picture on it. It ever got any attention. So I removed the brown and added a new fluorite pendant to it.  We will see if this is more popular.

So now the brown and tan Owyhee jasper pendant needed a new home.
I went with copper and a rich brown glass seed bead. SOLD

Next up were two Snakeskin jasper stones that had been sitting on a corner of my bench for months.  They both have streaks of a gray-blue in them so I picked a coordinating color glass seed bead to set that off. The pictures do not do the stones justice. Both have been SOLD.

New Work - Ocean Jasper

In preparation for this weekends show I have made a few new things.
This design has been extremely popular. I began using square agates for the pendants and those flew out of my booth. I was unable to find more, but found some ocean jasper that was close. These have also been very popular. The ones I made for last weekend all sold. I apologize for the less than stellar pics - my studio is torn apart for this weekends show.

All have been  SOLD

These two are my favs

And some more of my hand-hammered copper earrings - some with a twist!
And also some silver (ones not pictured).

And then something different, hematite, glass and silverplate.

This weeks work - Ocean Jasper

A few new things so far this week. The necklaces all have an ocean jasper pendant. The second and third ones sold the following weekend. Things go quickly during the holidays! Good for me, but not so good if you wanted one. I will be making more and will post pictures here.
All have been  SOLD

And a custom order for gold bangles.

This weeks work

Another busy week in the studio. Agates, copper, glass. Take a peek!
All have been  SOLD

These have been selling like hotcakes. These are the last 3 square agates I have.
I am trying to find more of these stones.
A reddish agate with blue streaks hanging from matte black diamond and dove grey opal seed beads.
A red and gold agate with rust and pale topaz seed beads.
Another reddish agate with wisps of blue and gold hanging from smokey grey
and shimmering grey seed beads.

The next 3 use LillyPilly pendants. The pendants are made out of shell that is etched using a CO2 laser. Very delicate and detailed.

The next three pictures are of necklaces and earrings that use hand blown glass beads. The earrings use Niobium wire - excellent for anyone with metal sensitivities.

When friends travel they often bring me back beads as souvenirs. These beauties are from Italy. They are glass flecked with copper. I used copper for the findings to bring out the warmth of the beads.
